About Water Systems Specialties of Connecticut:

For more than 30 years, Water Systems Specialties has been trusted for its expertise in drinking water operations and treatment, inspections, service, maintenance and repair. Water Systems Specialties' two divisions—Public Water Systems (PWS) and Residential Wells—are directed by our company’s founder Reale (R.D.) Lemay, who holds the distinction of a State of Connecticut Certified Chief Operator of Public Water Systems served by groundwater wells.

Certified Chief Operators must meet the state’s requirements, which include education (both initial training and ongoing classes to maintain a current license), experience and written examinations. In addition, Certified Chief Operators must be reviewed every three years by the Connecticut Department of Public Health (DPH) to ensure that they meet the state’s requirements for training hours and continuing education.

Our company's Public Water Systems Division is directly responsible for the operations of treatment plants, distribution systems and small public water supplies. Our Residential Division assists homeowners who need service, testing and maintenance on their private wells. We are a fully licensed and insured Connecticut J-1 Water Pump and Filter Contractor.
